Being responsible for the creation of Sheev Palpatine as well as causing the downfall of the Keyblade Order in order to recreate the powerful ฯ‡-blade for his plans. Once a chosen child of destiny, Xehanort fell to darkness through his traumatic life experiences within his early life and is now the ultimate edgy philosopher. He's convinced that the universe is broken and can only be fixed by reuniting the ฯ‡nfinity-Blade powered by the seven ฯ‡nfinity Stones. He becomes obsessed with the concept of darkness and believes that daemons are unfairly treated and wants to liberate all hell citizens. His obsession with darkness reaches unhealthy levelsโ€”he abuses the word "DARKNESS" so much that even most of his followers have started a drinking game around it (unfortunately, most don't survive past the second speech except for the Dark Hustler as he is a copy of himself that has mastered the art of talking to a mirror).

Template:Character1The Avatar (ใ‚ขใƒใ‚ฟใƒผ, Abatฤ), also referred to as the Player, and the Hero, officially given the nickname Yeshua (ใ‚คใ‚จใ‚ทใƒฅใ‚ข, Ieshua), by his friends and apostles, is the title given to a player's character in the prequel SpongeBob SquarePants games NickToons ฯ‡, and Nicktoons Union ฯ‡ while also being the games' playable protagonist. Their name and appearance is customizable by the player of the games; as such, they do not have an official in-universe name. The Avatar is drawn by the Creator with the intent of creating a powerful Keyblade wielder to face the emerging darkness that the Raposas could not manage in Daybreak Town and to safe the universe from the upcoming Keyblade War. The Avatar is chosen to join a faction prior to the Keyblade War to compete for Lux. They then get adopted by Mary and Jowee. After the end of Union ฯ‡, the Avatar is killed by the act of crucifixion. After the end of the war and reformation of the world, the Avatar would posthumously be come to known as Jesus Christ of Nazareth (ใ‚คใ‚จใ‚นใƒปใ‚ญใƒชใ‚นใƒˆ, Iesu Kirisuto) and would start a new religion known as Christianity. Unbeknownst to his future followers, he would much later be reincarnated and reborn as Xehanort (ใ‚ผใ‚ขใƒŽใƒผใƒˆ, Zeanลto).

ฯ‡ Arc[edit | edit source]

NickToons ฯ‡[edit | edit source]

In c.โ€‰6 - 4 B.C., Mary would pray to the Creator for help to restore her dying ass village. The Creator found the 14 year old Mary super cute resulting in him impregnating her. This hebephilic impregnation would result in the birth of the Avatar. Mary would plead to Jowee for him to take care of the Avatar and raise him with her.

From this point onward, the Avatar would join one of the five unions. The Avatar would then receive a Chirithy, who would act as their companion throughout their adventure. The Avatar later meets Peter and various other characters who become part of his party.

The Avatar gains the power of the Keyblade.

Later on, Strelitzia Magdalene would gain romantic feelings for the Avatar. Meanwhile, the Avatar and Judas make their way to the Foretellers' Chambers, where they are confronted by one of the Foretellers. The Foreteller reprimands the group for trespassing, then claims that Peter was acting under ulterior motives and implies that he died by their hand. Enraged, Judas confronts the Foreteller, but is defeated. Afterwards, the Foreteller compliments both the Avatar and Judas' strength and reveals themself to be Ava in disguise. She tells the two about the Dandelions, a group of Keyblade wielders she is training to escape the Keyblade War and continue the fight against darkness. She also reveals that Peter has already joined the Dandelions, and invites the two to join as well. Judas agrees, but the Avatar hesitates, reluctant to leave behind those who will fight in the Keyblade War.

NickToons Union ฯ‡[edit | edit source]

After realizing that their time is nigh, the Avatar tells Judas about his last plan and resort. After the betrayal of the apostles, he would entrust Judas that he sell him out so he could die for everyone's sins. Judas, at first unwilling and tearful after such a hard demand, pleads to the Avatar that there must be another way but the Avatar simply hugs him and thanks him for being his best friend.

Legacy[edit | edit source]

Map of the Roman Empire with the distribution of Christian congregations of the first three centuries after the death of the Avatar.
The death of the Avatar would become one of the most significant events in the entire multiverse. The surviving apostles would go their separate ways and some would found their own religion known as Christianity which eventually engulfed most of reality resulting in the modern state of the Imperium of Gods.

Before the Second Coming[edit | edit source]

Xehanort was first referred to in a prophecy by Luxu who knew that one day the chosen antichrist will be birthed and would reenact the Keyblade War while inheriting the No Name keyblade.

NickToons: Dark Road[edit | edit source]

Early Life[edit | edit source]

The second coming of Christ began with the birth of its Xehanort in Scala ad Caelum. Xehanort was believed by the residents of Scala ad Caelum to be the prophesied second coming that would one day save the entire world from darkness and ultimately overwrite the grim future recorded on the final page of the Light Prognosticus. Because of the tyrannical nature of Scala ad Caelum, his mother was deadly afraid that his child would become a blind soldier for them and instead ran away to hide the young Xehanort and send him to a land far away where he would not be found resulting in her execution. Before Xehanort last saw his mother, she would remind him that he was the child of destiny and how he would be able to connect his hearts with others and truly save the world from the current unbalance of Christianity.

Xehanort would later be found by a random village who were unbeknownst to the Scala ad Caelum. Growing up, Xehanort would regain some of his past memories of his previous life. When he turned into a young adult,

Young Adulthood[edit | edit source]

Xehanort would eventually return to his birth home, Scala ad Caelum, where he was found by the land's ruler, Odin, who the two eventually became best friends. Xehanort would later meet Eraqus and also befriend him. The three would often spent their time playing Alba & Ater.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]

โš ๏ธ Warning: Severe Spoilers โš ๏ธ

First Incarnation[edit | edit source]

Due to the Avatar being created as a customizable character to resemble anything the player desires, they do not have a set in stone appearance. However, due to the restraints of the game, all possible designs will have a basic humanoid bone structure - a head, at least one arm, a torso, and at least one leg.

Second Incarnation[edit | edit source]

Xehanort is bald eldery man with silver goatee. His ears are pointed and his eyes are amber in color. He has broad, hunched shoulders and a crooked back. He appears overall as a somewhat feeble old man, certainly deceiving given his absolute immense overpowered status within the entire multiverse. His clothing is composed of a white and black coat with a red inner lining, which is worn over a white shirt with two thin black belts, as well as white gloves and calf-high black boots.

Personality[edit | edit source]

โš ๏ธ Warning: Severe Spoilers โš ๏ธ

First Incarnation[edit | edit source]

The Avatar was born as a cheerful and laid-back individual. They resembled many modern day heroes like that of Superman and Captain America in terms of value and morals. Unlike those two though, the Avatar enjoyed to be more jovial and believed that humour was an important factor of life. Overall, the Avatar was an extreamly kind and gentle towards the people they met, even those who opposed them. Despite their laid-back nature, the Avatar was also very solemn and reflective, and even serious at times. Especially when defending and protecting their friends.

Second Incarnation[edit | edit source]

Xehanort is known to be someone in complete control in of his situation and is incredibly duplicitous and manipulative, using psychology and practicality to gain the trust of others. He is extremely cunning, callous, and pragmatic and believes the end justifies the means. He is willing to put whatever he pleases on the line or kill anything in his way if it means that it would advance his plans and motives. An example of demonstration would be his manipulation of Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, and the slaying of his old friend Eraqus in cold blood after tricking Terra into defeating him in battle. He even shrugged off ruining Terra, Ventus, and Aqua's lives by telling Mickey that they were destined to fall, and went as far as to refer to Sora as a "dull, ordinary boy". Xehanort tends to have a series of back-up plans to occur whenever his previous scheme fails, and his skill for this has given him a reputation as a "devious tactician" by many including the elite members of his group. No matter what situation he is in, Xehanort presents himself as a gentleman through and through. However, it is implied that Xehanort is hiding a personality significantly more unhinged underneath, evidenced when he briefly grows a massive smile while ordering Star to destroy her wand.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

  • Xehanort's name is an anagram for "Another X". Such a name refers to Xehanort's first incarnation as the player's avatar. This is due to the english phenomenon where the letter "X" is usually used as a way to represent an unknown quantity meaning that "Player X" means an blank slate character. Another X is refering to that fact that it is another blank slate character. Overall, Xehanort's name could be interperted as "The second incarnation of a blank slate character".
    • Ironically, this also serves as a visual metaphor since the visual apperance of the letter "X" is derived from the ancient greek alphabet, specifically the letter Chi (ฯ‡) which of course connects Xehanort's name to that of the ฯ‡infinity Stones and the era of Union ฯ‡.

Media[edit | edit source]

  • Some of Master Xehanort's personality traits are a parody of Tetsuya Nomura's obsession with DARKNESS, especially the infamous line, "Darkness within Darkness awaits you, Riku." This character trait mock Xehanortโ€™s lackluster and confusing schemes in Kingdom Hearts III.
  • Master Xehanort's pawns are also given parody titles and different backstories from the games they came from.
  • Originally, Tetsuya Takahashi stated that he wanted to avoid the writing mistakes of having a lackluster DeviantArt character take away the themes of the story by having a character be amateurishly written and way too serious and over compilated for its own good. So he decided to replace the would be actual Xehanort for the story, with a more comically written villain who serves as an exaggerated version of his original personality that feels more in line for a satirical anime. Later though, the Dung Eater and Yoko Taro would disagree and believe that having a serious character wasn't the problem and instead was the execution of the writing that was the problem. This led to Xehanort keeping his original serious and threatening nature while also creating an interesting juxtaposition between the satirical protagonists and the serious antagonists.
