Persona PP is the 6th installment of the Persona franchise. It is set after the events of Persona 5, Persona 5: Strikers Charged, and its various other spinoffs.

Gameplay

This game has the same mechanics as the previous persona games but it adds new mechanics. These new mechanics include:

Character Creation:

if you don't like your protagonist, then customize your own protagonist. it could be girl, boy, non binary or whatever you like it or not

Fart:

The L2 shoulder trigger will be dedicated to making fart noises. That's it.

Dialogue

You cannot skip Futaba's and Soyfon's dialogue as they annoy the player with so much brain rotted stuff that lasts for an eternity. The dialogue doesn't even change the plot The dialogue are essential to the plot.

Break ups:

A more fleshed out mechanic introduced in Persona 4. If you mess up your choice of words or your persona you currently using too ill fitting for a social link (doesn't have that move, not high enough level, incompatible race to the tarot, forgetting to take a shower earlier, etc.) you can damage friendships and even fall apart.

Plot:

After the events of persona 5, the protagonist got bored but suddenly, one of the characters decided to meet birdie (a transfer student) at school. Although he was transfer student, Futaba warned our protgonist that birdie has a dark secret claiming that he will steal the skull heart to become powerful.

The next morning, the protagonist and their friend found out that the great diddyblud have been released into the void corrupting and controlling the minds of people turning them into shadows while the other people turned into paranoids.

Reception:

According to reception, the audience find this game peak thanks to the music and the gameplay similar to past games. One thing that this series stands our on its own was the character creation where people can create their own protagonists or ocs. Audiences also adored all the smokin' new waifus/dynamite gals in the game with some even considering Persona PP's setting to be HOT CHICK HEAVEN.

Woke Controversy:

Many far right gamers are angry at persona PP for adding non binary on the character customization mechanic (similar to the tomodachi life 2 situation)
